#3 The Angels Label, GRAB BAG SALE CONTINUES, READ ON

Hi dearies from The Angels Label!

& I'm sad to inform you that I will be withdrawing The Angels Label, meaning it will not be in operating soon, in fact, now! I think some of you actually kinda suspected that!! =/

I've been trying to clear as many pretty clothes at super affordable prices, it's really dead cheap. 1 dress/blouse/skirt for SGD6.50 / SGD 5!

Honestly, I'm not making any profits out from this. The cost price is TWICE of that so seriously, even wholesalers won't offer you such price especially if you are making 10 piece purchase. Maybe you will get that price if you are making 100 piece purchase or something.

& lets get back on track!

Yes, I'm the owner of The Angels Label & soon enough, I won't be anymore. Quite sad ahh, but since I'm not in this anymore. I think it's appropriate to share with you ladies some insider secrets of blogshops!

I mean I'm not going to touch on anything bad about other models/bloggers etcsssssss. I will be hated so badly if I do that so seriously, I really need to be careful of everything I say here!

REASONS WHY THE ANGELS LABEL WILL BE CEASING OPERATION

Having a blogshop these days is not like having one 3-5 years ago when you can just put in $200 or even $500 per month & get your brand known island-wide.

So if you are thinking of investing that insignificant amount in to your future blogshop, save the money for yourself, don't bother. 

Let me go into "almost" full detail

1) ------STOCKS------

I would say SGD500 is prolly only able to cover this portion of the business expense. 

& what I launch weekly is basically quite little compared to other blogshops!

At least 1 series of dresses, blouses, shorts, bags to create a collection.

I already envisaged myself spending this much but I know my finance well, I know I can't afford to spend this much monthly in a long run.

Maybe currently yes, but it's a long term investment.
 I'm not confident so I'm just stopping it here. 

SGD 500!!!

& here comes the important part 

most of you girls look for is basically PRETTY & GOOD QUALITY CLOTHINGS!

& where can you hunt for them?

SINGAPORE!

WHERE EXACTLY? 

Seriously, I'm thinking of I should share this place but I think a lot of you know where la!

& if I reveal this place to all of you, everyone will just shop there & not buy from other blogshops already. 

Then blogshops will start to hate me.

or if I continue running The Angels Label, no one will buy from my shop already. HAHA

It's a cycle, you know?

Would you rather get clothes shipped directly from China Tao Bao or from Singapore? 

I got some clothes from Tao Bao & honestly, quality SUCKS!
DON'T BOTHER GETTING FROM THERE.

Singapore wholesalers also take stocks from china but at least the pieces are quality assured & i trust them A LOT MORE!

So the cost price of 1 pretty and good quality dress would come up to SGD 18 or SGD 20!

So how much profit do we, blogshop owners earn? 

SGD 10 MAX PER ITEM?

So, we need to sell 50 clothes to breakeven at this point. 

THIS IS JUST STOCKS ALONE!! 

& I still have advertising & photoshoot expense not covered!

I mean if we charge SGD 35/item & above, would a lot of people buy?

I would say only NO. 

Lets face it, new blogshops selling clothes at expensive prices will not get any sales from it. 

WHO DOESN'T LIKE CHEAP AFFORDABLE STUFFS?

A NEW BEE SELLING THINGS AT SUCH HIGH PRICE, DON'T EXPECT ANY SALES.  

2) ------ADVERTISING------

Okay, this is an interesting topic.

Money talk first.. ADVERTISING IS ABOUT SGD 500 / MONTH AS WELL!

SO THAT'S 1K AS OF NOW RIGHT?

Honestly, I'm pretty sceptical about blogging on this sub topic.

but I somehow can't stand not talking about this & I think all of you should know because you readers are always kinda influenced the way bloggers present themselves.
They are seemingly nice bunch of people but you don't know what kind of person they are when you work with them. 

I SERIOUSLY HATE PROUD BLOGGERS THAT DON'T PUT IN THE EFFORT TO BRING OUT THE BEST OF THE APPARELS WHEN THEY ARE BEING PAID HUNDEREDS FOR JUST 1 FREAKING INSTAGRAM POST!

I respect them for the number of followers they have, if not for their followers, do you think blogshops will want to approach them?

WE ARE IN FOR THEIR FOLLOWERS & NOT THEM SO WHY ARE THEY SO STUCK UP?

I'm not going to specifically name the bloggers because it's going to be ugly.

I mean every single cent is like blood & tears to ALL of us & since we are using or rather PAYING for their service, they should not give half-hearted service to their clients.

Just because they are famous doesn't make them cut it a little slack on rendering good services.

WITHOUT ADVERTISERS, THEY JOLLY WELL PREPARED TO GET A 8 TO 5 FULL TIME JOB.  

It's not like we didn't pay for their service! 

& guess what's pissing me of  ; they don't even reply your msges sometimes!

& guess what's even more infuriating?

It's the stupid lame ass reason. "I'm busy" 

THEY OBVIOUSLY THINK THAT IT'S LITTLE MONEY TO THEM & THEY SIMPLY TELL YOU THEY ARE BUSY & THAT'S WHY THEY DID'T REPLY. (EVEN AFTER 1 DAY OR MORE)

TELL YOUR BOSS THIS & SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN!

"OH SORRY, I'M TOO BUSY TO EVEN SEND YOU A SHORT MSG TO INFORM YOU WHY I CAN'T WORK YESTERDAY BUT HEY, I'M FREE NOW, WHAZZZZZUP?"

SERIOUSLY? 

Oh guess what, I experience one model/blogger.

Advertorial post was supposed to be up like at 5PM today for eg. 

SHE WOKE UP AT FREAKING 6PM & THEN TELL ME THAT SHE COULDN'T POST IT TODAY. 

WHAT THE HELL RIGHT? 

OH YES, OF COURSE, 

I work together with really nice bloggers too! :) 

Unfortunately, advertorial collaboration ended because TAL ended. Oh wellsssssss. =/

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of working with irresponsible, inconsiderate, stuck up humans & selling clothes is my hobby.
The working attitude of these people seriously just get in my way.

Okay fine, I think if I continue on this topic, it's going to take forever. I've a lot more to rant on those bloggers nowadays!

3) ------PHOTOSHOOT------

Money talk first again, SGD 400 FOR A MONTH PHOTOSHOOT? :)

SO THAT'S 1.4K AS OF NOW?

Okay, at this point. I don't think there's much to comment because the people I work with are usually good people! *thumbs up!*

& I think the people deserve the money very much. 

Honestly, I will miss studio shoots & most importantly, the people :( 

There was only ONCE when we went for a shoot and the studio was locked, OBVIOUSLY CLOSED!

That was the worse experience ever, we(photographer, model, friends, myself) had to cab down to another studio for a shoot. 

& usually studios are fully booked on the day itself. Reservations needed a few days before. 

But I was thankful that The White Cottage studio was available. :) 

I'm not going to mention the studio that screwed things up but at least they bother to compensate us with a 2 hour studio shoot. 

so that's a good thing.

SO ALL IN ALL, 

MONEY WISE, IT'S ABOUT 1.4K PER MONTH!

A LOT HUH!! 

SO HOW MANY CLOTHES DO I HAVE TO SELL IN ORDER TO EARN THAT MUCH?

LET SAY IT'S SGD10 PROFIT FROM EVERY ITEM. 

THAT'S

1400 / 10

I have to sell 140 clothes IN ORDER TO BREAK EVEN. 

EASY ?

NO, NOT EVEN ENTIRELY POSSIBLE FOR NEW BLOGSHOPS THESE DAYS!

A FEW YEARS AGO WITH NOT MANY BLOGSHOPS, YES IT'S POSSIBLE

BUT NOW??

SO MANY THOUSAND BLOGSHOPS!!!
