So I finally decided to go get my hair groomed!! I was totally sick about having 2 patches of different hair colour. It doesn't look ombre, it just looked like those cant-be-bothered-with-hair kind of hair.

I went down to Fep on a weekday afternoon after a visit to the doctor earlier.

& I was so thankful that there were not many people at the salon becuz I didn't book an appointment. Before going down, I thought of giving Salon Vim a try becuz it's so damn famous but the pricing is quite steep even for a basic hair grooming.

But, you know what? 

The ending result of a good hairdo is always apparently visible if you have a good stylist to really style your hair after any hair services. For me, my stylist always curl my hair differently at each visit. It's just what kind of curls I prefer to have at that time. & the curls will just go off after a few hours. I always feel like having curls after each visit.

Curls naturally makes your ombre/highlights more attractive & naturally your hair will look smoother. That's what I think la.

So here's the main question, where do I normally get my hair done?

This is basically how the salon looks like. They recently just renovated the place & it definitely looks better than before!!!

One of the stylist there told me that a reader of mine actually show them my previous blog post with photos of their old looking salon so she was kinda of confused if she's at the right salon.

I've brought quite a number of friends here & most of them love the outcome of their hair!

Their services are at pocket friendly prices too! :)
Definitely cheaper than many salon in town!

I have decided to dye my hair with highlights!
& I'm rather sceptical about it but I did mention that I want to go for something more adventurous. HAHA

Getting the highlights on!

I would say that they are very professional in their services, they understand how hard it is for customers to stay in their seat for hours so they offer free wireless, ask if we are okay etcs & occasionally,

they would offered to buy drinks/food for customers.
(but only if they are free lah, don't expect them to do that when they are busy. Shorter waiting time means no such service ah!)

They always treat me like their lao gu ke(regular customer) so if you happen to go there, try to request for cheaper rate, simply flash this blogpost. I can't guarantee that you will get regular customer rate but no harm trying, if you dare!!!!!!!

But they are nice friendly people. :)

This photo is quite overly exposed so don't really look too good. Next time must tell him to take with lower exposure. :)

PRICE: SGD220 for dye, highlights, haircut. 

Worth it? Definitely lah!!

Curls are not too obvious already because it was about 4 hours after the hairdo.
 I was rushing off to an appt so didn't have time to take photos at the salon right after it's done!

THE ONLY THING I REGRETTED IS THAT I DIDN'T CHOOSE A LIGHTER SHADE OF HIGHLIGHT TO MAKE MY HAIR COLOUR POP MORE. 

I will definitely go for a lighter highlight shade the next visit! :)

They are always hectic during festive periods so please make reservations in advance or go earlier!

That's all for food!

So I met up with W (My Bf) for dinner that day. We have been really busy with our stuffs that we only managed to have this meal together in that week.

There's something you need to know ; I lova loveeeee chicken & yes, I love KFC, Kenny Rogers, Texas Chicken & any other chicken places you can think of. 

My most favourite chicken place till date is Nando's! 

Good meal again!




It's definitely not cool to eat dry chicken meat & yes, all breast meats are usually dry & non-appetising. 

Dipping it usual chilli sauces, tomato sauces to make it slightly more tender and juicy isn't going to make me come back for more. 

I love food with strong taste especially when it comes to western food & Nando's has it all! They have Peri Peri sauces ranging from the less spicy one to the medium spicy and to the spiciest one.
